RIOTTEDCATASTROPHE!

i've finally found time to blog :D this weeks been busy. my grandpa is well.. DEAD :O & my eyes are red hurt alot from the lack of sleep & all the crying o.O he passed away on tues 14nov at around 5.34 in de morning. i feel bad. cause on mon i know after dance i'm supposed to go visit him at the hospital but i delayed it till lyk 4plus cause i couldnt resist abit of volleyball. cause i didnt think it'll be that bad!? lyk he got minor stroke before but was absolutely fine lyk 5hrs later he was sitting up talking, joking and all.

when i finally got there he was in the acute stroke ward, my mum told me lyk how bad it was. theres the brain scan & the results came out that 90% of his brain is dead O.O n for the scan a normal brain the scan would come out the shape of the brain n the thing is white in color, minor stroke patients a few blothes of black here n there all over the brain. the black part means dead brain D: my granddads one was lyk whole thing black & just one tiny white part below. and the other scan was for the blood vessels goin to the brain. the veins with blood flowing through will be seen in the scan in white again. normal ppl scan will look lyk a tree with many many branches. my granddad only has 1.

so we decided to tell my dad after all. before that we didnt noe how bad didnt wanna worry him too much but the doc told us his dead brain will start swelling up n build alot of pressure in his head is press down n de remainding life part of his brain which will cause his heart to stop n to stop breathing. so it cat be stopped which means he will surely die :\ my dads on unpaid leave back in s'pore. he arrived at lyk 7am ytd.luckily his boss allowed him to leave cause his overall in charge of somethings for the doha games which starts tml?

anw we were lucky. my grandad was in those kinda 4 ppl to one room ward but since the other two patients were discharge n no other patients in the room we got the whole room to ourselves (: beeter than those one person to one ward rooms cause we got much much much more space, alot alot alot of chairs, n we could kup pillows fm the other unused beds. just that we couldnt sleep on the beds. $45 per night hahahah totally rocked lyk big big vip wards LOL

we managed a tinny winny bit of sleep here n there. i stayed overnight cause i felt that i needed to n i wanted to.some parts got realli teary esp those bits where one by one they talked to the unconcious him. though dics say he cant hear, he cried a few times when we talked to him.then my grandma n uncles aunties were lyk saying maybe he's waiting for ahsan(thats how they address my dad) to come back den he go so we decided to call my dad n make him talk to my granmddad via phone then he was lyk get well thank you for everything i'm sorry etc n it got teary again. after that everything went downhill fm then. docs says signs that the brain is swelling is a drop iin heart rate, bloood pressure, n his eye pupils getting bigger cuase the brain is pressing against it. his pupil swelled to 7mm from the norm of 4mm at round 9pm on mon. at around 11 - 3 the alarm rang non stop.terrifying. there was once the breathing rate droped to 0 n its just so so scary.

the nurses n doctors are unbelievably clam. lyk de moment the alarm ring i would expect lyk nurses rushing in n all but after lyk bout 20sec a nurses strolls in all cool n calm. if she pages for help 30 sec en the nxt nurse stroll in. but the docter was lyk i dunno how to discribe just so calm. he wears he pants lyk those sec3/4 guys who wear their pants n their hip all baggy n all ~~when he walks in you get the feeling lyk: i'm the man yo check me out haha~~ wee chee keong. his de man hahah a nice one not to mention ;D
